Measure profiles on big and heavy workpieces

Whether engine blocks, crankshafts, cylinder heads or large ball bearings – many profile measuring instruments are stretched to their limits when the workpieces to be measured are too big and/or heavy. Three special profile measuring instruments from ACCRETECH see their chance here: The two spindle form testers RONDCOM 73 and RONDCOM 76 are ideal for measuring big and heavy components.

The ACCTee PRO software included allows for intuitive operation and guides you through the entire measuring process. With the ACCTee PRO software, users can program measurements and the evaluate and log the results in graph form. Using the playback function, re-measurements can be started at the press of a button. Changes in evaluations such as filters, centring procedures or notch saving functions can be performed without re-measuring. The changes in the measuring result will be displayed immediately.

Measure profiles on heavy workpieces with high precision

The work ranges of the RONDCOM 73 and RONDCOM 76 are where other profile measuring instruments meet their limits. The profile measuring stations are suitable for measuring cylinder head, engine block, crankshafts, camshafts and highly precise profile measurements for heavy components.

The spindle form tester RONDCOM 73 and the RONDCOM 76 are both very versatile in their application. Both guarantee short measuring times due to high traversing speeds of up to 100 mm/s in all axes (R, X, Y, Z). Automatic CNC measuring processes ensure high efficiency in the measuring room for both measuring instruments. Manual alignment is no longer necessary. Due to the precise air bearing in the X-, Y-, Z- and turning axis, the two spindle form tests are extremely durable and require little maintenance.

ACCRETECH has also provided both profile measuring instruments with thorough collision protection in all directions, a function for fully automatic workpiece alignment and automatic CNC measuring processes. CNC test plans can be created quickly via teach-in or offline programming. The high traversing speed shortens the time of a measuring process considerably.

The differences between the RONDCOM 73 and the RONDCOM 76 spindle form testers:

RONDCOM 73 is suitable for heavy or cubic workpieces weighing up to 200 kg. Despite the compact design, the measuring instrument has a measuring range of up to 450 mm diameter. It has a rotational accuracy of 0.06 µm. The Z axis straightness is 0.9 µm/200 mm.
The spindle form tester RONDCOM 76 has the highest efficiency and accuracy of its class. With the RONDCOM 76, workpieces weighing up to 1000 kg can be measured. The measurement range is up to 500 mm diameter. The rotational accuracy is (0.04+3H/10,000) µm. This makes the RONDCOM 76 a highly precise spindle form tester for measuring oversized workpieces, such as in the automotive industry. The high accuracy is the result of the granite structure and the high-precision air bearing for X-, Y-, Z- and rotational axes. An anti-vibration table with active damping is also integrated. The automatic workpiece alignment and automatic CNC measuring processes ensure high measuring throughput.
