ACCRETECH (Europe) GmbH and ZEISS intensify their long-standing partnership and create more customer proximity

ACCRETECH (Europe) GmbH takes over sales and customer support for “Form and Surface” from ZEISS in Germany

ACCRETECH (Europe) GmbH and ZEISS are realigning their long-standing close partnership. As part of this, ACCRETECH (Europe) GmbH will take over sales and customer support of the “Form and Surface” product area from ZEISS in Germany from 1 April 2022. The team that previously supported the business at ZEISS is moving to ACCRETECH Europe – the contact persons for customers will thus remain the same.

ACCRETECH Europe and ZEISS will continue to work closely together in the future. The two companies have enjoyed a close partnership for many years. In Germany, ACCRETECH measuring technology devices from the “Form and Surface” product area have been distributed by ZEISS since 1995 – ZEISS also covered the customer support. Wolfgang Bonatz, President & CEO, ACCRETECH (Europe) GmbH underlines this: “The partnership between ACCRETECH and ZEISS is something special and is based on a mutual, deep trust between the people who live this partnership. 28 years ago, the two major players in the field of metrology started a cooperation to offer the best products to the Japanese and global market. This ambition still guides the cooperation today and requires understanding our customers’ needs in the best possible way.” The close cooperation between ACCRETECH Europe and ZEISS will also be evident at the leading trade fair Control (3-6 May 2022) in Stuttgart: the companies will present their metrology portfolio in the same hall. Visitors can thus get to know the entire measurement technology portfolio of both manufacturers in the shortest possible way.

ACCRETECH products, integrate seamlessly into the renowned range of industrial measuring technology offered by ZEISS UK. When challenged with HydraForce Birmingham’s demanding precision and efficient operating criteria, the staff of ZEISS UK were confident that the recently launched RONDCOM NEX would provide the ideal metrology solution.

In addition to other innovative facilities, the advanced RONDCOM NEX boasts an axis speed potentiometer, an auto force detector and automatic centering and tilt correction, making all precision measuring routines considerably more efficient.

The ACCRETECH CNC instrument provides the best concentricity and straightness precision figures in its class – (0.02+3.2H/10000) µm and 0.15 µm (Z300) respectively. These advantages are made possible by the extremely high rotational accuracy of the instruments’ air-bearing based rotary tables. The RONDCOM NEX Rs variant also enables highly accurate roughness measurements, as per DIN EN ISO, in linear R and X direction, also in rotational directions on workpiece circumferences.

The flexible RONDCOM NEX series’ ingenious design enables the high-precision measurement of form, diameter and surface simultaneously. The modular nature of the new form measuring instruments means that they are available in a wide range of variants, ensuring that customers can now specify a system that will be configured exactly to their own individual requirements.

“By taking over sales and customer support for the Form and Surface product portfolio, we will have direct contact with customers and users. This enables us to understand the requirements of the market even better and to incorporate them into our product development in a target-oriented manner. The goal is to further improve our solution portfolio. In doing so, we are relying on the experience of the team that already managed the business at ZEISS,” says Marcus Czabon, Head of Business Unit Metrology, ACCRETECH (Europe) GmbH. With this orientation, ACCRETECH Europe is reacting to the increased customer requirements for individual metrology solutions. Measuring systems are assembled for customers at the ACCRETECH Solution Center in Munich. This ensures short delivery times and reliable quality. As before, the German business is managed from the location in Ostfildern near Stuttgart.

In addition to the further development of the product portfolio, the support of existing customers is particularly important to ACCRETECH. International customers receive services through an extended network that is already established in countries outside Germany. They benefit from comprehensive spare parts inventories and are given access to solution centres where test measurements and training can be carried out. Marcus Czabon emphasises: “We know what it means when a device fails. It often stops the entire production process. Therefore, it is our claim to offer our customers reliable customer support with short response times as before.” In addition to surface, contour and form measuring devices, ACCRETECH offers its customers solutions in the field of inline measuring technology and grinding machine optimisation.
